Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schweinsteiger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alves pinned against the cage. Alves gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alves closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Schweinsteiger to the mat! Schweinsteiger manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Alves thows a big elbow that misses.

Alves is fighting to break Schweinsteiger's control of his arms but Schweinsteiger is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Alves lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Schweinsteiger!

A big strike lands for Alves! That's really hurt Schweinsteiger and he's turned his back - Alves keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Alves jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
