Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pantea Alex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miodrag Petkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pantea Alex! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Miodrag Petkovic! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alex looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Petkovic throws a series of punches but Alex avoids them all with ease. Petkovic misses with a takedown and Alex counters with a takedown into side control. Petkovic trying his best to control but Alex has mounted him. Petkovic is squirming around, avoiding Alex's attempts to control the action. Petkovic avoids a series of strikes thrown by Alex.
Alex controlling his opponent. Alex thowing shots but they're missing. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Petkovic can do anything to dispel that myth. Alex tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Petkovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alex. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petkovic keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Alex postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Petkovic looks a forlorn figure.
Petkovic wants to control but Alex is having none of it. Alex looking to finish Petkovic with some ground and pound. This is bad for Petkovic!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alex looking to control and managing it successfully. BOOM! Alex connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Petkovic is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. What can Petkovic do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Alex has the hooks in. Petkovic is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Alex is persistently looking for the submission but Petkovic is defending it well.
Alex slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alex misses with punches from the back. A lull in the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petkovic is trying to stand back up. Alex trying to control. Alex lands a shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pantea Alex dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alex fails with the takedown and Petkovic counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Alex's guard now. Petkovic distracts Alex with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Petkovic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Petkovic is looking to stand up but Alex won't let him. Alex lands a good elbow from the bottom. Petkovic postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alex is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Petkovic, into his guard. Alex trying to control the position from guard on top but Petkovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Petkovic is trying to control the position but Alex postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alex looking to pass the guard. Petkovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Alex working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Alex gets to his feet - Petkovic follows without any prompting. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Petkovic shoots and misses and Alex counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Petkovic wants to hit a switch here but Alex passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Petkovic there! Alex has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Alex landing punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alex avoids the attempt from Petkovic to control. Petkovic tries to improve his position but instead Alex has taken his back! Alex is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Petkovic taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Alex.
