Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adriano Zaginho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonardo Detrezouga! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Detrezouga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zaginho defends it nicely. Zaginho scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Zaginho is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Detrezouga has managed to free his arm - good work. Detrezouga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Zaginho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Zaginho is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Detrezouga sees it coming and defends easily. Zaginho wants to work for an arm triangle but Detrezouga is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaginho is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Zaginho blocks the strikes from Detrezouga.
Zaginho is working for a submission of some sort.
Zaginho wants to free his trapped foot but Detrezouga is holding on for dear life with his legs. Detrezouga wants to control but Zaginho is keeping busy.
Zaginho is trying to work for a kimura but Detrezouga is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zaginho is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Detrezouga doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zaginho. Zaginho is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Detrezouga is defending against the submission attempts here by Zaginho.
Detrezouga tries to roll over but Zaginho keeps him under control. Zaginho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Detrezouga looking to pass the guard. Detrezouga wants to control from the top but Zaginho keeps moving. Zaginho is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Detrezouga drops back looking for a leg! Zaginho is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zaginho manages to kick Detrezouga off! Detrezouga jumps back into Zaginho's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Detrezouga advances to half guard. Zaginho is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Detrezouga is tapping! Great win for Zaginho!
