Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yyme Hector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yyme Hector! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamal Williams! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hector is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Williams avoids a kick to the body.
Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hector. Hector lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively. Williams blocks a head kick by Hector.
Hector shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily. No luck for Hector with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yyme Hector. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hector tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hector drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams wants to get back to his feet but Hector drags him back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams bucks up and tries to throw Hector off but instead Hector has got his back! Williams has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Hector shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hector is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams looks like he's trying to stand up.
Williams kicks Hector off and gets back to his feet. Hector moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off. Williams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hector. Nice sprawl there from Williams as Hector shoots in.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hector won't allow Williams to pass to mount. Well, if Williams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hector on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Hector is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Williams scores with a couple of nice shots. Williams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Williams is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Williams content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hector wants to improve his position but Williams is controlling well.

Hector is squirming around, avoiding Williams's attempts to control the action. Hector is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams cracks Hector with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Williams has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hector's face.
Hector might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Williams looking to finish Hector with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hector!

Hector is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hector is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Oh Hector is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Williams putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hector in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. A nice elbow there by Williams. Williams landing punches. Williams controlling from the full mount. Williams lands a big shot there that rocks Hector but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hector seems to have got his legs back now. Williams is in the full mount, landing strikes. Williams in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Jamal Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. Hector wants to control but Williams is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams with a couple of short strikes. Hector tries to reverse the position but Williams maintains control. Williams lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Williams landing strikes from the mount and Hector is in trouble! Jamal Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

The referee asks Williams politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Williams prefers to stall for the moment though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hector throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Williams staying calm. Williams landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams working the head and body with strikes. Williams scores with a couple of short elbows. A lull in the action here as Williams stalls from top position. Hector takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Hector is trying to buck Williams off. Williams controls the position from side control. Hector struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Williams happy to just control the position for now. Williams working the ground and pound. Hector takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Williams controls the position. Hector is working to avoid the ground and pound but Williams connects with a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Williams wants to control but Hector is keeping him busy. Williams creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hector sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Hector manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Williams pushes Hector off and gets back to his feet. Hector tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hector fails with the takedown and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hector's guard now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams lands a couple of elbows. Williams postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hector is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him. Williams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Williams with a flurry of punches that miss. Yyme Hector has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jamal Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Williams trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hector manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Williams pushes Hector off and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Jamal Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
