Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nico Obino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obino comes into the arena with Korn - Freak On A Leash blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Obino slips the punch.
Obino lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Obino avoids them all with ease.

Jackson is not content to let Obino control the position.
Jackson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Obino asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Obino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jackson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Jackson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Obino content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Obino creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jackson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Obino is trying to ground and pound but Jackson uses the momentary lack of control by Obino to regain half guard.

Jackson stalks Obino and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Obino's face. Obino staggers backwards, shaken.

Obino can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape.

Obino is landing with some decent strikes but Jackson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Nico Obino overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Obino unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jackson wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Obino celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
