Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rik McRae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Derkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McRae comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - Before I Forget. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gregory Derkins was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gregory Derkins!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derkins throws a nice head kick!
Derkins throws a head kick that half lands.
McRae slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Derkins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McRae thumps Derkins with a low kick.
A jab from McRae does it's job there.
McRae fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Derkins scores with a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body kick there by McRae.
McRae ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Derkins looks for the body kick but McRae saw that one coming.
McRae drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McRae passes Derkins's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Derkins won't allow McRae to pass to mount.
McRae wants to take a breather but Derkins is having none of it.
McRae is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Derkins is trying to stand back up but McRae is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round.
Derkins is looking to control McRae's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Derkins avoid being mounted?
McRae passes to side control.
McRae tries for a kimura but Derkins is defending well.
McRae wants to control but Derkins is keeping him busy.
McRae has an Americana. Derkins didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! McRae is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if McRae hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rik McRae!
