Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Satan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Walk by Pantera. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stanley but Stanley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Stanley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stanley stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stanley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Smith to his feet.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stanley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stanley tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stanley to the ground. Stanley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stanley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith is looking to clinch but Stanley is avoiding it.

Smith scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Smith is keen to just control but Stanley is a slippery customer.
Smith has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Stanley is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Smith has taken his back.
Stanley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stanley is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Smith gets his way!

and Stanley counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Smith is lucky that one didn't land flush.

I think Stanley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
