Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Quizboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Savage Freak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quizboy comes to the cage accompanied by "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead. Freak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. cant be touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quizboy closes the distance and clinches.
Quizboy has hold of one of Freak's legs. Freak is fighting the takedown attempt but Quizboy gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Quizboy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Freak holds on and takes a little breather.

Freak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Quizboy sprawls well initially but Freak persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

I looks like Freak might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Quizboy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Quizboy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Freak jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quizboy walks away with a smile on his face. Freak gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Quizboy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Freak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
