Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Beast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Stone! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beast moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stone looks to throw the jab but Beast is out of range. Stone drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Beast showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stone.
Stone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beast circles away quickly and effectively. Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
Beast throws the left hand but Stone avoids the punch easily. Beast avoids the head kick by Stone.

That's one minute gone in the round. Beast lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Beast. Beast gets the takedown into side control. Beast is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stone's shoulder. That is not cool. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beast has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Beast stands up and beckons Stone to his feet. Beast avoids the head kick by Stone.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Beast lands with a hook. Stone tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Stone throws a left and a right that both miss
and Beast connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stone misses with a double jab.

and Beast holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Stone is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Beast has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Beast has Stone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stone stalling against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Beast moves out of range of the strikes. Beast avoids the head kick by Stone.
Stone throws a nice looking combination but Beast bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Charlie Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Beast shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Beast. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone throws a sloppy head kick and Beast counters with a one-two to the body. Danga de danga de dang - Stone scores with a four punch combination! Stone throws a sloppy head kick and Beast counters by clinching up. Stone effectively controlling the action here. Stone wants to break free but Beast has control.

Stone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Beast, up you get! Stone throws a head kick that misses and Beast decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard. Beast trying to control but Stone is working from the bottom. Stone is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stone ducks under a wild hook from Beast. Beast shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side. Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beast.

and Beast counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stone! Beast sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Beast looking to control but Stone is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Beast looking to control and managing it successfully. Stone trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beast tries to control but Stone wriggling away. Beast controlling his opponent. Beast working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Stone is squirming around, avoiding Beast's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beast controlling his opponent. Stone wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Beast trying to control but Stone is having none of it. Beast controlling the position easily from mount.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Marcus Beast just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Stone throws a sloppy head kick and Beast moves out of range easily. Stone tries to bum rush Beast with a series of wild strikes but Beast uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stone defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beast. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Charlie Stone will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Beast closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stone to the mat! Stone manages to get full guard. Beast wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving. Beast pushing down on Stone's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Beast wants to take a breather but Stone is having none of it. Beast tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stone knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Beast performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Stone is refusing to be controlled, as Beast sits in half guard.

Beast trying to control the action but Stone is working from the bottom. Beast is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stone will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Stone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Beast is controlling him well. Beast wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stone keeps working. Beast passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Stone!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beast controlling from mount. Beast can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stone is looking to escape. Beast is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stone is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
