Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cooper Wyman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ready (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wyman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scream Aim Fire. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cooper Wyman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Ready! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyman scores a takedown into full mount! Ready is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wyman avoids the attempt from Ready to control. Ready wants to get back to his feet.
Wyman looking to control and managing it successfully. Ready is working to get back to half guard.
Wyman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ready tries to lock up and control but Wyman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Wyman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ready is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ready wants to control but Wyman is having none of it. Wyman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Wyman trying to control but Ready is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wyman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ready tries to reverse the position but Wyman maintains control. Ready wants to control but Wyman is having none of it. Wyman controlling the pace for now. Wyman has control of Ready's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ready regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ready bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ready trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ready postures up.
Ready is looking to stand up but Wyman won't let him. Wyman is breathing heavily. Ready trying to control the position from guard on top but Wyman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wyman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wyman keeping moving, preventing Ready from controlling successfully. Ready is looking to work some ground and pound but Wyman has wrist control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wyman gets a takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ready wants to control but Wyman is keeping busy.
Wyman tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Ready. Wyman is pressing down on Ready's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ready is holding on for now. Ready is looking to control Wyman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ready avoid being mounted? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ready is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wyman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wyman's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cooper Wyman dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wyman throws a shot to the body.
Cooper Wyman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ready will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cooper Wyman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ready looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ready closes the distance and clinches up with Wyman, looking for a takedown. Ready pushes Wyman against the cage but Wyman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cooper Wyman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Ready. Ready motions for Wyman to come forward. Ready throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ready looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wyman is fending him off so far but Ready persists. Nope, Wyman circles away and we're back to standing. Ready takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wyman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wyman working the ground and pound but Ready is defending the strikes. Wyman wants to control but Ready is keeping him busy. Wyman working away. Ready is looking for a sweep. Wyman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ready is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ready is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ready will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Ready tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wyman's elbow. Wyman is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ready can't fight it off and eventually Wyman manages to take the fight to the floor. Ready looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ready not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ready has his foot on Wyman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wyman works his way back into a safe position though. Wyman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wyman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyman wanted to stand there but Ready had control of the position. Wyman trying to control but Ready is working from the bottom. Wyman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ready is proving hard to escape from. Ready pushes Wyman off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. A punch combination from Wyman misses. Ready looks to clinch and Wyman counters with a head kick. That will keep Ready thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Wyman scores with a takedown into Ready's guard. Ready working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wyman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ready is tightening it up a little... Wyman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Wyman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Wyman taps out! nice BJJ there by Ready!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). James Ready!
