Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Junko Zaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Tribbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tribbett shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zaki as he jumps to the side.
Tribbett scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Zaki has managed to clinch.
Zaki changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tribbett fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tribbett swats away the attempt to clinch by Zaki.
Zaki has closed the distance and engaged Tribbett in a clinch.
Tribbett drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Zaki - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tribbett tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zaki smiles and moves away.

Tribbett closes the distance and clinches up with Zaki, looking for a takedown. Tribbett pushes Zaki against the cage but Zaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tribbett throws a solid leg kick but Zaki takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tribbett.

and Tribbett counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tribbett prevents Zaki from getting back to his feet.
Zaki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tribbett manages to get himself to full guard.
Tribbett looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Zaki wants to get up but he can't break Tribbett's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tribbett is trying to hold Zaki in close to prevent damage but Zaki has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tribbett jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zaki walks away with a smile on his face. Tribbett gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Zaki takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Tribbett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zaki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
