Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanji Yanamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kanji Yanamada! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yanamada shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Jones shoots in and bounces Yanamada off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Yanamada striking off his back but it's not causing Jones any problems. Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yanamada looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jones throws a strike but Yanamada rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yanamada is controlling him. Jones pulls Yanamada in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yanamada drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones! Jones is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Yanamada's shoulder. That is not cool. Yanamada wants to control but Jones postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones cracks Yanamada with a big right hand but Yanamada just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jones in side control, just content to control the action for now. Yanamada on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Jones controls the position from side control. Yanamada tries to escape but Jones is in control. Yanamada is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Yanamada's shoulder. That is not cool. Yanamada gets back to half guard. Jones stands up and beckons Yanamada to join him on the feet. Yanamada circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yanamada throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot. Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones is looking to clinch but Yanamada is avoiding it.
Yanamada rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Yanamada just stands there and leans against the cage. Jones pulls Yanamada into guard.
Yanamada got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yanamada has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yanamada is aware though and is defending well. Jones is breathing heavily. Yanamada wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Yanamada really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones has control of Yanamada's left arm, preventing Yanamada from doing any damage. Yanamada must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yanamada stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Jones keeping moving, preventing Yanamada from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Yanamada misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jones thows a body shot but no joy. Yanamada shoots and misses so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A punch combination from Yanamada misses. Yanamada is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jones advances position into side control! Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Yanamada's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yanamada is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yanamada can't do much from the bottom here. Jones controlling the position from side mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Yanamada wants to control but Jones postures up. Jon Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jones scores with a takedown into Yanamada's guard. Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Yanamada. Jones forces his way into half guard. Jones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Yanamada has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yanamada is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount! Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Yanamada shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Yanamada avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones throws a combination that misses and Yanamada counters with a nice body kick. Yanamada throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones throws a lazy head kick and Yanamada holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yanamada looking to slow down the pace here. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Yanamada as Jones tries to tie him up. Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Yanamada gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Yanamada takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jones tries to circle away but Yanamada has him pinned against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to break the clinch but Yanamada is controlling the position. Yanamada pulls Jones into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Yanamada can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jones is taking a breather. Yanamada says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones decides to stand and escape the position. Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Yanamada!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones controlling from mount. Jones landing strikes from the mount and Yanamada is in trouble! Jones quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Jones but it's paid off an Yanamada is forced to tap! Nice work by Jones.
