The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riku looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Progbeniak is fending him off so far but Riku persists. Nope, Progbeniak circles away and we're back to standing.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Riku is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Progbeniak has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Riku throws and elbow that misses. Progbeniak uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Riku's guard. Nice move by Progbeniak!

Riku turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Progbeniak off and cradles Riku's limp body as Progbeniak celebrates with his corner.
