Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sid Jamse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sensai Ping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sid Jamse has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sid Jamse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sensai Ping!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jamse drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jamse working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Ping tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Jamse's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Jamse distracts Ping with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ping looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jamse is one step ahead there.

Jamse seems to be working for a kimura but Ping defends the submission attempt.

Jamse tries to free his leg and advance position but Ping is retaining full guard.
Ping bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jamse's guard.
Ping stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jamse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ping lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ping accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jamse scores with a takedown into Ping's guard.

Ping isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jamse stacks Ping on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jamse!

Ping tries to buck Jamse off but Jamse is having none of it.
Jamse remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jamse takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Jamse counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Ping had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jamse is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ping Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jamse's back instead.

Ping is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Ping doesn't have the hooks in and Jamse manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ping can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jamse controls the pace.
Jamse seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ping for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ping is rocked!
Jamse lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ping is still in real trouble! Can Jamse finish him?


It looks like Sensai Ping has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ping avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jamse.
Jamse wants to control the pace but Ping is squirming around nicely.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Ping tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jamse swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ping might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jamse kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Ping closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jamse is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Jamse is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ping's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ping's back!
Jamse has the hooks in. Ping is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Ping is trying to defend against the choke here but Jamse has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Jamse Tightens the hold and Ping taps out furiously! Jamse displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
