Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nataleo Detrio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Raghdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raghdan has chosen behind your lies as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nataleo Detrio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mohamed Raghdan!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raghdan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Detrio swivels and escapes.
No luck for Raghdan with that takedown attempt.
Detrio fails with a takedown attempt.
Detrio throws a series of punches but Raghdan moves out of range.
Detrio drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Detrio really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Raghdan wanted to stand there but Detrio had control of the position.
Detrio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raghdan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Detrio wants to stand up but Raghdan is controlling him.
Detrio has a closed guard, preventing Raghdan from standing up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Detrio shoots for a takedown but Raghdan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Detrio is breathing heavily.

and Detrio counters by moving into the clinch.
Nataleo Detrio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohamed Raghdan.
Raghdan has had enough of the clinch but Detrio keeps him there for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Detrio is pushing Raghdan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Detrio tries to pull guard but Raghdan holds him up against the cage and eventually Detrio drops back down to his feet.
Detrio is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Raghdan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Raghdan wants to get back to striking at distance but Detrio won't allow it.
Raghdan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Raghdan is trying to force a seperation but Detrio has the dominant position.
Raghdan is trying to break the clinch but Detrio is controlling him.
Detrio drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Raghdan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Raghdan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Detrio not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Raghdan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Raghdan tries to kick Detrio off in order to stand up. Detrio Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Detrio goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Raghdan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Detrio but great work by Raghdan.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Detrio instigates a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Raghdan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Detrio's guard.
Detrio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Raghdan on the ground.

Detrio has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Raghdan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Detrio pulls Raghdan in to control the position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Detrio holds on and takes a little breather.
Detrio lands an upkick as Raghdan stands over him.
Detrio is adopting a defensive guard.
Raghdan stands up from Detrio's guard - Raghdan perhaps looking for a knockout.
Detrio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Detrio tries to advance to mount but Raghdan denies him.
Raghdan pushes Detrio away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Detrio gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Detrio goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Raghdan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Detrio but great work by Raghdan.

Raghdan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Detrio lands an elbow just above Raghdan 's eye.
Raghdan has had enough of the clinch but Detrio keeps him there for the moment.
Detrio goes for a takedown in the clinch but Raghdan prevents it.

Raghdan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Detrio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Detrio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Raghdan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raghdan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Raghdan stands and steps away. Detrio gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A close second round but Mohamed Raghdan will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Detrio has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well Detrio has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
