Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piui doido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the ring accompanied by Enea Vollare Mezzo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Piui doido!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
doido fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Emelianenko is out of range.
doido is looking to land body kicks.
doido lands with a thumping leg kick.
Emelianenko keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Emelianenko checks the leg kick.
Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up with doido, looking for a takedown. Emelianenko pushes doido against the ropes but doido circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko stalks doido and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into doido's face. doido staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Piui doido has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Emelianenko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Emelianenko lands in his opponent's guard.

Some bone on bone action there as Emelianenko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

doido throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
doido takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Emelianenko shoots for a takedown but doido saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


doido throws out a leg kick but Emelianenko moves out of range and doido only half commits.

Emelianenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. doido looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Emelianenko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but doido sees it coming and defends easily.

doido is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Emelianenko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Emelianenko's back!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
doido pushes Emelianenko off looking to stand but Emelianenko dives back in and keeps control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

doido does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Emelianenko here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Emelianenko throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! doido escapes and throws Emelianenko's legs to the side, diving into side control!
