Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanniball Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slide comes into the arena with Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People blaring out of the sound system. Smith has chosen Dub Pistols - Running from the thoughts as his entrance music. Kimbo Slide has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slide's waist but Slide gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Slide sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Smith throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Slide was covering up waiting for the punch and Smith finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Smith being controlled here momentarily.
Smith is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Slide is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Slide has escaped and now he's on top!
Slide works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Slide wants to free his trapped foot but Smith is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Slide uses his free foot to push down on Smith's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Smith.
Slide jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Smith manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Slide trying to control the position but Smith is working away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Slide working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Slide will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Slide thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Smith manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Smith is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slide pulls his head out easily.
Slide is keen to just control but Smith is a slippery customer.
Slide is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Smith looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Slide is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smith is just riding it out for now. Slide eventually gives up the hold.
Slide is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Slide to get the leverage.

Smith gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Slide to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slide doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slide manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Slide is pushing down on Smith's leg trying to pass to half guard. Smith is fighting to maintain full guard but Slide has managed to sneak the leg through.
Slide is pressing down on Smith's thigh, looking to free his foot. Smith is holding on for now.
Smith is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slide pulls his head out easily.
Smith is in trouble now - Slide has advanced to mount!
Slide prevents Smith from getting the reversal.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Slide is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Slide!
