Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederik Kraus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Liddell looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frederik Kraus! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kraus fails with a takedown attempt. Liddell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Liddell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kraus. Kraus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kraus throwing shots but missing, from side control. The ground and pound from Kraus seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The strikes coming from Kraus are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Kraus misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kraus postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kraus in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Kraus is working Liddell over with some ground and pound from side control. Kraus looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Liddell is avoiding damage well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kraus dives in and grabs Liddell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liddell pushes down on Kraus's head and hops out. Chuck Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frederik Kraus. Kraus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Liddell tries to get out of the position. Kraus looks gassed! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kraus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Liddell working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kraus. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kraus missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kraus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Liddell throws a big shot that misses. Liddell throws a body punch but Kraus moves out of range. Liddell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Liddell stuffs the takedown attempt from Kraus. Kraus gets slowly back to his feet. Liddell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Liddell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kraus manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell stuffs the takedown. Kraus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddell but Liddell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kraus tries to clinch up. Kraus moves away from the strike by Liddell. Kraus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddell as he avoids it easily. Kraus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Liddell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kraus somewhat. Liddell looks to score with a jab to the body but Kraus is just out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kraus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddell but Liddell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kraus avoids the body shot from Liddell.
Liddell looks to score with a jab to the body but Kraus is just out of range. Liddell cracks Kraus with an open hand slap. Kraus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Liddell leaves Kraus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Liddell scores with a decent looking hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Frederik Kraus will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Liddell sprawls well initially but Kraus persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kraus lands strikes from half guard. Liddell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kraus. Liddell is looking for a sweep. Kraus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kraus lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kraus lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Liddell is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kraus scores with a couple of nice shots. Kraus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kraus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Liddell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kraus thows a huge punch but Liddell dodges it nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kraus lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell is in trouble now - Kraus has advanced to mount! Kraus unloading with bombs! Kraus lands a big shot there that rocks Liddell but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddell is bucking up trying to escape but Kraus cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kraus cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Liddell dips to his left and cracks Kraus with an uppercut! Liddell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kraus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Liddell throws out the jab. A big left from Liddell misses. Liddell digs a good hook to Kraus's body.
Kraus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes. Nice cross by Liddell. Kraus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kraus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kraus takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Liddell showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kraus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
