Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Vasyanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Igor Vasyanovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Johnson! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson prevents Vasyanovich from improving his position. Johnson not doing much here.
Johnson wants to free his trapped foot but Vasyanovich is holding on for dear life with his legs. Johnson is taking a breather. Vasyanovich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Vasyanovich is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson works his foot free and advances to mount. Vasyanovich is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vasyanovich is trying to escape the mount.
Vasyanovich is working hard here to advance position. Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vasyanovich is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Johnson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Vasyanovich tries to reverse the position but Johnson maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Vasyanovich throwing hammer fists to the chest of Johnson. What's that going to do exactly? Vasyanovich working to try and regain half guard.

Johnson wants to control the pace but Vasyanovich is squirming around nicely. Vasyanovich is looking to get to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charles Johnson dominated that round. That's time! Vasyanovich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Igor Vasyanovich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vasyanovich pivots, looking for a leg kick but Johnson is out of range and Vasyanovich settles back down. Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vasyanovich napping and manages to drive through into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vasyanovich is not in a great position here, taking some shots. A lull in the action here.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Charles Johnson. Vasyanovich stuffs the takedown. Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Johnson content just to control the position here. Vasyanovich is wriggling around trying to escape.

Johnson cracks Vasyanovich with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Vasyanovich is squirming around, avoiding Johnson's attempts to control the action. Johnson controlling from mount. Vasyanovich is trying desperately to improve position. Johnson working the ground and pound effectively.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johnson controlling his opponent. Vasyanovich is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount. Vasyanovich is squirming around, avoiding Johnson's attempts to control the action. Charles Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vasyanovich finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head. Vasyanovich fails with the takedown and Johnson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vasyanovich's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vasyanovich tries to land a sweep but no joy. Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Vasyanovich thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Johnson content to stall in guard here. Johnson lands a couple of elbows. Johnson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson won't allow Vasyanovich to sweep him here. Vasyanovich has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Johnson has passed into side control.
Vasyanovich is trying to get back to half guard. Vasyanovich tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Johnson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Johnson controlling from the full mount. Charles Johnson has got the better of the ground game so far. Johnson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Igor Vasyanovich has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
