Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conan Barbarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Barbarian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Colon!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Colon attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Colon scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Barbarian throws some wild stikes that Colon manages to avoid easily.
Colon is looking to improve his position but Barbarian isn't that keen on the idea.

Barbarian moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Colon has worked his arm free - good work by Colon!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Colon throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Colon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Colon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Barbarian has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Barbarian!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Colon will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Colon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barbarian doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barbarian manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
