Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Mcnichol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mcnichol might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to AC/DC - Back in Black. Kerr has chosen Smash Your enemies - Hatebreed as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drew Mcnichol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Kerr! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mcnichol has Kerr up against the cage in a clinch.
Kerr tries to score a body lock takedown but Mcnichol shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mcnichol unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kerr lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Mcnichol lands a nice knee to the body. Kerr trying to stall but Mcnichol improves his position.

Mcnichol lands a nice shot to the body. Kerr looks gassed! Kerr manages to break the clinch.
Mcnichol has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kerr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mcnichol fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Drew Mcnichol has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Kerr. Mcnichol lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Matt Kerr has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcnichol dips to his left and cracks Kerr with an uppercut! The fight moves into the clinch position. Kerr takes a knee to the side of the body. Mcnichol is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Mcnichol lands a nice shot to the body. Mcnichol drops Kerr with a big knee straight up the middle! Kerr is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Kerr is rocked! Mcnichol gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kerr is still on wobbly legs! Can Mcnichol finish him? Mcnichol creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kerr with a big uppercut! Kerr tries to clinch up but Mcnichol pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Kerr to the mat! Kerr covers up and Mcnichol unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Drew Mcnichol!
