Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Stonecold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Travers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stonecold's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hell. Nicolas Stonecold looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stonecold swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stonecold circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stonecold moves out of range of the body kick.

Stonecold has taken the fight to the clinch.
Travers throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Travers tries to pull guard but Stonecold won't allow it.
Stonecold really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stonecold is working for takedown but Travers is calmly controlling the position for now.
Travers jumps guard but Stonecold stands there with Travers around his waist. Travers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stonecold stops a takedown attempt from Travers.
Nicolas Stonecold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Travers.

Travers is fighting off a takedown attempt but Stonecold is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Travers to the mat. Travers regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Travers is looking to stand up but Stonecold isn't so interested in that idea.

Travers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stonecold is one step ahead there.
Travers is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Stonecold pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Travers is keeping the position for now.
Travers seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Stonecold controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Stonecold prevents Travers from getting back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Stonecold drops back looking for a leg! Travers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Travers manages to kick Stonecold off! Stonecold jumps back into Travers's guard.

Stonecold trying to control the position from guard on top but Travers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A jab-cross combination lands for Travers and sends Stonecold crashing to the mat! Travers follows him down to the mat - Stonecold regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Nicolas Stonecold has been cut.
Travers lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Stonecold quite badly. Stonecold pulls Travers in close trying to recover. Travers postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Stonecold on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Stonecold doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
