Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zoran Petric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petric comes to the cage accompanied by Back in Black. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zoran Petric! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Tate! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petric chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Petric is looking to clinch. Tate closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tate in side control, throwing shots but Petric defends. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tate lands an elbow. Petric takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Tate throwing shots but missing, from side control. Tate misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Tate moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Petric avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Tate.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Tate postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Petric dodges the ground and pound from Tate. Tate grinds an elbow into Petric's temple. Tate landing a few strikes. Tate passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Petric! Tate working the ground and pound effectively.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tate working away from the top, dropping strikes. Tate working Petric over with strikes here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice elbow there by Tate. Tate controlling the pace for now. Tate has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Petric's face.
Tate with good strikes from the mount here! Petric takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Petric is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petric is looking to improve his position but Tate isn't that keen on the idea. Petric is working hard here to advance position. Tate is landing with some decent strikes but Petric is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Petric is in a horrible position here. Tate smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Tate lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Oh Petric is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Petric is breathing heavily. Tate postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Petric is out cold - huge knockout for Tate!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rob Tate!
