Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ang's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Darude - Sandstorm. Armstrong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mudvayne kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ang's half guard.
Armstrong stands up from half guard.
Armstrong tries to clinch up.
Armstrong is looking to clinch but Ang is avoiding it.
Ang lands a high kick to the side of Armstrong's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Ang dives into guard, looking to finish.
Armstrong is rocked!
It looks like Michael Armstrong has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Armstrong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ang is aware though and is defending well.
Armstrong is still in real trouble! Can Ang finish him?
Ang stands up over Armstrong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armstrong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ang loads up on a big left hand. Armstrong felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ang looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Armstrong can't hide his disappointment, as Ang celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Ang!
