The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn Barksdale misses with a wild body shot.
Fernando throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vaughn Barksdale was covering up waiting for the punch and Fernando finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fernando passes into half guard.
Fernando wants to take a breather but Vaughn Barksdale is having none of it.
Fernando stops Vaughn Barksdale from getting back to his feet.
