Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrel Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pat Barry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terrel Owens! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barry misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Owens checks a leg kick. Decent striking displayed by Owens there. Owens lands a front kick. Barry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Owens tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Barry throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Owens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Barry really is a fat lump. Barry throws a head kick but Owens moves out of range.

Barry throws a head kick that misses and Owens holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Owens jumps guard and drags Barry to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Owens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Barry avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Owens wants to stand up but Barry is controlling him. Barry preventing the sweep. Owens pulls Barry in close to his closed guard and prevents Barry from doing any damage or advancing position. Barry stands up and waves to Owens to follow him. Owens takes a kick to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A head kick by Barry misses and Owens moves into the clinch. Barry tries for a takedown. No joy.
Barry is trying to break free. Owens pulls guard successfully.
Barry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Owens on the ground. Owens has control of Barry's left arm, preventing Barry from doing any damage. Barry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Owens trying to keep a closed guard but Barry is proving a slippery customer.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Owens is on top in guard.
Owens stands and steps away. Barry gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Owens looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Owens walks into a left hand. Barry throws a sloppy head kick and Owens counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Owens. Owens is struggling to control the position. Barry breaks from the clinch.
Barry throws a head kick that misses and Owens counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Owens. Barry wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Barry fails to pull guard.
Barry looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Owens has Barry pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Owens pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Barry tumbling to the mat - Owens dives into Barry's guard. Barry wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Owens manages to pass to side control. Owens gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barry throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Owens. Owens blocks a head kick by Barry.
Pat Barry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick by Barry misses and Owens moves into the clinch. Owens lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Barry wants to break free but Owens has control.
A frustrated look appears on Barry's face as he tries to break the clinch. Barry tries to pull guard but Owens won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Barry. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Barry wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Owens fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Owens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Barry scores with a jab to the head.

Barry lands a head kick!
Pat Barry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Owens scores with a one two! Barry had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Pat Barry has been cut. Owens steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barry. Owens blocks a head kick by Barry.
Owens misses with a takedown attempt - Barry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Owens fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barry, pushing him back against the cage. Barry wants a takedown.
Owens's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Owens takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Owens throws a sloppy head kick and Barry counters with a good low kick that Owens was not able to check. Barry throws a head kick that misses and Owens holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Barry fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Barry tries to circle away but Owens has him pinned against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Barry misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Owens.

Owens throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Barry's head. Barry throws a head kick that misses and Owens counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Owens stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Barry lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Barry lands a head kick!
A head kick misses from Barry. Barry throws a leg kick which misses Owens's front leg but catches the back leg as Owens tries to avoid it. Barry plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Barry throws a sloppy head kick and Owens counters with a left and a right that stings Barry. Barry lands with an overhand left. Owens takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Barry throws a head kick but Owens moves out of range.

Barry turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barry throws a head kick that Owens semi-blocks.
Barry lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Barry lands a head kick. Owens smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Barry throws a sloppy head kick and Owens moves out of range easily. Barry stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Owens on the wrong end of a nice jab. Owens tries to move into range but Barry moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Barry throws a head kick that misses. Owens shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Barry is trying to defend but Owens finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Barry is staying active underneath Owens, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Barry is looking to escape. Owens looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Owens prevents Barry from standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Owens passes to side control. Barry is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Owens is controlling him well. Owens stands up and we're back to a striking position. Owens chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barry can pounce on him.

Pat Barry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrel Owens. Barry tries a head kick but it misses.

Terrel Owens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Pat Barry's cut. That's time! Barry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
A head kick misses from Barry. Owens dives in and grabs Barry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barry pushes down on Owens's head and hops out. Owens takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Owens scores with a takedown into Barry's guard. Owens wants to control from the top but Barry keeps moving. Owens loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Barry wants to stand up but Owens is controlling him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Owens slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Barry is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Owens dives into side control.
Barry wants to get back to his feet but Owens drags him back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Barry is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Barry throws a head kick that misses and Owens counters with a three punch combo that has Barry backing up. Barry nods at Owens to acknowledge the strikes. A head kick by Barry misses and Owens counters by moving into the clinch. Owens has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Barry avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Owens stops a takedown attempt from Barry.
Owens decides to pull guard. Owens wants to sweep here but Barry controlling him for the moment. Owens has his feet on Barry's thighs here. He's pushed Barry off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Barry screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
