Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lance Stevens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Olson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Stevens! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Stevens winds up and cracks Olson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stevens lands a nice short elbow. Stevens trying to mount his opponent but Olson defends it. Olson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Olson tries to get out of the position. Olson tries to kick Stevens off but Stevens keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Stevens lands strikes from half guard. Stevens has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stevens is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Olson tries to kick Stevens off in order to stand up. Stevens Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Olson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stevens on the ground. Olson is trying to get back to half guard. Stevens lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Stevens landing strikes. Stevens is chipping away with strikes.
Olson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Stevens is controlling him well. Stevens looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Olson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Olson pushes Stevens away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stevens gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Olson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Olson has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stevens tries for a kimura but Olson is defending well. Olson is trying to buck Stevens off. Olson bucks up and tries to throw Stevens off but instead Stevens has got his back! Stevens scores with punches to the body. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Stevens.
Stevens lands a shot to the body. Stevens is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Olson is defending well though. Stevens let's go of the attempt for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Olson covering up well and avoiding damage. Stevens is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Olson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Stevens has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Olson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Stevens doesn't care though - he's delighted!
