Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Goldie Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Mylly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Goldie Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Mylly!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson doesn't manage to clinch there - Mylly circles away.

Wilson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mylly circles away.
Wilson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wilson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown but Mylly shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mylly but Mylly pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goldie Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mylly lunges at Wilson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wilson's hand.
Wilson throws a series of punches but Mylly moves out of range.
Mylly lands a nice looking body shot.
Mylly fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Wilson throws a right hand that Mylly ducks under and follows up with a left that Mylly also avoids with ease.
Wilson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mylly finds it's way round the side to connect with Wilson's head.

Mylly works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wilson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Mylly counters with a takedown into side control.
Mylly is chipping away with strikes.
Wilson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mylly asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Mylly is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Mylly swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wilson is now in Mylly's guard. A big mistake from Mylly there, giving up the dominant position!

Wilson is looking to advance position but Mylly has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Wilson tries to lock up and control but Mylly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wilson is trying desperately to improve position.
Mylly lands a big shot there that rocks Wilson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wilson regains half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mylly trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mylly throws a nice looking combination but Wilson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mylly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mylly working over Wilson with some ground and pound. Wilson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Wilson is looking to control Mylly's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wilson avoid being mounted?

Wilson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mylly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Matt Mylly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
