Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ali Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hardly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardly has chosen Eminem- Not Afraid as his entrance music. Dan Hardly will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ali Bang!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Hardly!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardly swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bang takes a swing at Hardly's ribcage but misses.
Bang fails to land the takedown.
Hardly bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hardly.
Bang shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hardly manages to avoid it.
Hardly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hardly waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bang.
Hardly throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hardly connects with a looping right hand.
Bang swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hardly counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hardly stuns Bang with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hardly misses with the combination.

Bang throws a chopping leg kick but Hardly manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

and Bang counters with a left and a right that stings Hardly.
Hardly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hardly throws a right hand that Bang ducks under and follows up with a left that Bang also avoids with ease.
Bang misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hardly.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hardly.
Dan Hardly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hardly punishes Bang's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Bang counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bang is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bang working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bang with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Bang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hardly looking for a guillotine here but Bang defends easily.

Bang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hardly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bang has managed to get both his arms back between Hardly's legs - danger averted.
Bang throws a big right hand that misses.
Bang trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hardly is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bang is aware though and is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hardly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hardly wants to pass the guard but Bang is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hardly wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bang keeps working.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bang manages to get to full guard.
Bang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Hardly dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hardly moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hardly jabs at Bang's body.
Bang throws a hook to the side of Hardly's head but Hardly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bang takes one to the chin there.
Bang misses with a body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bang.
Hardly falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bang counters with a low kick, right behind Hardly 's knee.
Bang circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bang wants to clinch up but Hardly keeps it at a distance.
Hardly looks to score with a jab to the body but Bang is just out of range.
Bang closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hardly did well to prevent Bang getting side control.

Bang frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bang cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Hardly that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hardly is rocked!
Bang postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Hardly bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Bang and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ali Bang!
Ali Bang retains his welterweight title!
