Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tayfun Turan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Chapmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayfun Turan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Freddy Chapmen! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chapmen rushes Turan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Chapmen pulls guard. Chapmen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Turan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chapmen. Chapmen gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Chapmen tries to reverse the position but Turan maintains control. Turan controlling from the full mount. Turan punching from mount but Chapmen doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chapmen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chapmen and Turan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Chapmen is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chapmen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turan decides to stand back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Chapmen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chapmen on the wrong end of a nice hook. Turan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chapmen as he jumps to the side. Turan dodges the punch combination from Chapmen.
Turan moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chapmen is working for takedown but Turan is calmly controlling the position for now. Chapmen jumps guard but Turan stands there with Chapmen around his waist. Chapmen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Tayfun Turan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Chapmen. Turan tries for a takedown. No joy.
Chapmen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Turan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Chapmen looks gassed! Chapmen closes the distance but Turan moves to the side and Turan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Chapmen's guard now. Chapmen looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Turan passes into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Turan taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chapmen keeps working. Turan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Turan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Turan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tayfun Turan dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chapmen slips a straight right by Turan. Chapmen wants to clinch and Turan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Chapmen's knee momentarily. Turan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chapmen. Turan tries to clinch but Chapmen moves out of range. Turan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chapmen throws a sloppy body shot
and Turan counters by clinching up. Chapmen wants a takedown.
Turan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Chapmen.

Tayfun Turan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Chapmen. Turan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Freddy Chapmen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chapmen swats away the attempt to clinch by Turan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turan takes the fight into the clinch. Chapmen is breathing heavily. Turan manages to pull guard.
Turan is looking to stand up but Chapmen isn't so interested in that idea. Turan controlling Chapmen's posture. Turan looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chapmen is defending well. Turan quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chapmen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Turan celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
