A fine choice. Mike Wheeler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to stan theman jr's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
theman jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
theman jr motions for Wheeler to come forward. theman jr throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wheeler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. theman jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wheeler looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wheeler tries for a kimura but theman jr is defending well.
The strikes coming from Wheeler are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Wheeler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wheeler is working theman jr over with some ground and pound from side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if theman jr can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wheeler wants to lay and pray for a moment but theman jr keeps working.

It looks like Mike Wheeler has been cut.
theman jr stuffs the takedown attempt from Wheeler. Wheeler gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wheeler tries to score a power double leg takedown but theman jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wheeler somewhat.
