The Animal comes to the cage accompanied by You canīt escape the great Cornholio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos The Animal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oleg Karev! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karev scores with a decent looking hook. Karev misses the jab. The Animal shoots in for a takedown but Karev shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The Animal gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Karev breaks the clinch.
Carlos The Animal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Animal is trying hard to land a takedown here. Karev sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The Animal gets the takedown into side control. The ground and pound from The Animal seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. An elbow from The Animal crashes against the mat.
The Animal tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The Animal connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Karev some visible discomfort.
The Animal misses with the ground and pound. The Animal throws a strike aimed at the side of Karev's head but Karev avoids it well. Karev manages to work his way to half guard, despite The Animal's best efforts. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The Animal trying to control from half guard but Karev is working away. Karev tries to roll over but The Animal keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Animal thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Karev blocking the ground and pound attempt from The Animal. Karev avoiding damage under a succession of punches from The Animal.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Karev lets loose with a powerful body kick. The Animal will feel that in the morning. The Animal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Karev avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos The Animal. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from The Animal. Karev throws a head kick that misses. Karev pushes The Animal away with a front kick. The Animal is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karev lands with a nice body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karev lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The Animal takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Karev buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Karev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The Animal takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Carlos The Animal has been cut. Karev works The Animal's body with a nice hook. The Animal walks forward, straight into a front kick from Karev. Karev throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Karev lands a left and a right that send The Animal crashing to the mat, dazed. Karev thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The Animal is rocked! Karev ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with The Animal's jaw. The Animal's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Karev does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Oleg Karev!
