Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald Young I!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Maxi Carnage!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young I closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carnage circles away.
Young I wants to clinch up but Carnage keeps it at a distance.
Carnage with a poor takedown
and Young I counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Carnage blocking the ground and pound attempt from Young I.
Young I throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Carnage kicks off Young I and gets to his feet.
Young I fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carnage sprawls well initially but Young I persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Young I thows a huge punch but Carnage dodges it nicely.

Young I wants to take a breather but Carnage is having none of it.
Young I thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Young I is working for a kimura but Carnage is defending it quite comfortably.

Carnage is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Young I pulls his head out easily.
Young I thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carnage's head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Young I misses with a takedown attempt
and Carnage counters with a single leg into guard. Young I didn't expect that.
Carnage looks gassed!
Carnage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Carnage throws a head kick that misses.
Young I tries to clinch up but Carnage circles away and keeps his distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carnage is not content to let Young I control the position.
Young I seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Young I winds up and cracks Carnage with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Young I slows the pace down in half guard.

Carnage is not content to let Young I control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gerald Young I.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Young I.
Carnage throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
No luck for Young I with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerald Young I. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Young I wants to clinch but Carnage slips to the side
and Carnage counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Young I is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Young I throws a head kick that Carnage semi-blocks.
It looks like Maxi Carnage has been cut.
Carnage slips a jab and a cross from Young I.
Carnage avoids a kick to the body.

Young I has his takedown stuffed
and Carnage counters with a nice low kick that buckles Young I's knee momentarily.
Young I tries to clinch up
and Carnage counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Young I's guard now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Young I is trying to control the position but Carnage postures up.
Carnage passes Young I's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Young I actively working from the bottom here.
Young I tries to get to full guard but Carnage has control of the leg.
Young I knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carnage on the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gerald Young I will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Maxi Carnage's cut.
That's time! Young I's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Young I shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gerald Young I overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Carnage has one foot on Young I's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Carnage keeping moving, preventing Young I from controlling successfully.
Carnage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Young I doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Carnage is tightening it up a little... Young I has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Young I reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Young I taps out! nice BJJ there by Carnage!
