Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Tseng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tseng's entrance music is Hollywood Undead - Undead. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Tseng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hector Hoffman! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoffman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tseng slaps away a takedown attempt from Hoffman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tseng scores a takedown into full mount! Hoffman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hoffman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Tseng working for a guillotine from mount but Hoffman is in no mood to give up. Hoffman is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tseng controlling from mount. Hoffman throwing hammer fists to the chest of Tseng. What's that going to do exactly? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tseng jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hoffman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hoffman and Tseng has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Tseng tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tseng has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hoffman manages to get back to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tseng lands a nice short elbow. Tseng trying to pass the guard but Hoffman defending well. Tseng stops Hoffman from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tseng is pressing down on Hoffman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hoffman is holding on for now. Hoffman regains full guard. Nicely done. Hoffman working for a triangle but Tseng defends it easily.
Hoffman keeping moving, preventing Tseng from controlling successfully. Tseng knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hoffman on the ground. Hoffman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hoffman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hoffman has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tseng off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Hoffman looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoffman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tseng counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hoffman's guard now. Lee Tseng has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Hoffman. Tseng trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tseng throwing strikes from guard but Hoffman blocks nicely. Hoffman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tseng doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tseng manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tseng won't allow Hoffman to sweep him here. Tseng looking to sit in guard and control but Hoffman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hoffman pushing down on Tseng's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hoffman tries to stand and escape but Tseng is controlling the position. Hoffman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tseng fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hoffman sprawls well initially but Tseng persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tseng looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hoffman is trying to maintain the position but Tseng is very close to passing his half guard. Hoffman tries to roll over but Tseng keeps him under control. Hoffman looking for submissions off his back. Hoffman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tseng pulls his head out easily. Hoffman looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tseng closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hoffman to the mat! Hoffman manages to get full guard. Tseng stops Hoffman from standing up. Hoffman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tseng. Hector Hoffman has got the better of the ground game so far. Tseng avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tseng can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hoffman looking for submissions from the bottom here. That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoffman passes Tseng's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hoffman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tseng does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hoffman scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hoffman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tseng defends it well. Tseng trying to control from the bottom.

Hector Hoffman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Tseng shoots and misses and Hoffman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hoffman. Hoffman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tseng knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tseng on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tseng tries to get out of the position. Hoffman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! That's one minute gone in the round. Tseng is not content to let Hoffman control the position. Hoffman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tseng knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hoffman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tseng is not content to let Hoffman control the position. Hoffman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tseng has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hoffman but great work by Tseng.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoffman tries to bench press Tseng off him but Tseng keeps the position. Hoffman on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Hoffman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tseng wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hoffman holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Hoffman manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Tseng wants to pass to mount but Hoffman is defending the position. Tseng is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hoffman is trying to stand back up but Tseng is controlling him
Hoffman gets full guard. Tseng trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hoffman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tseng defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tseng slips nicely into half guard. Hoffman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tseng pulls his head out easily. Hoffman is looking for a sweep. Tseng is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tseng passes to full mount! Tseng trying to control but Hoffman is having none of it. Hoffman slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Lee Tseng has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hector Hoffman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hoffman won't allow Tseng to pass to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Hector Hoffman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hoffman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
