Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Pattenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perry Pattenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Price! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pattenson! Price wants to control the pace but Pattenson is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pattenson has given up his back.
Price tries to keep control of the position but Pattenson is staying busy. Price is persistently looking for the submission but Pattenson is defending it well.
Price controlling well, preventing Pattenson from escaping the position.
Pattenson holding both Price 's hands and preventing any damage. Price is riding his opponent, not letting Pattenson buck him off.

Price is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pattenson is defending well though. Price let's go of the attempt for now. Price trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Pattenson doesn't escape. Pattenson holding both Price 's hands and preventing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pattenson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Price.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Price is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. I looks like Price might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Despite being in the dominant position, Timothy Price just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pattenson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Price. Price tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pattenson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pattenson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are battling for position here. Price manages to regain full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timothy Price dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Price swats away the attempt to clinch by Pattenson. Pattenson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Price! Price is trying desperately to improve position. Price sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Price kicks Pattenson off and gets back to his feet. Price defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pattenson. Price shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Price showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pattenson trying to control from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Price passes to full mount! Pattenson is looking to improve his position but Price isn't that keen on the idea. Pattenson is in a horrible position here. Price smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Price sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Price has hold of Pattenson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pattenson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pattenson is desperately trying to improve his position but Price has a good base and remains in mount. Timothy Price has got the better of the ground game so far. Pattenson wants to hold on but Price pushes him away. Price content just to control the position here. Price wants to take Pattenson's back but he can't do it this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Price controlling the pace for now. Price wants to control the pace but Pattenson is squirming around nicely. Price controlling his opponent. Pattenson wants to control but Price is having none of it. Price is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Pattenson is in real trouble.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Price is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Pattenson with him. Pattenson is trying to defend but Price has an arm under the chin now! Pattenson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Timothy Price!
