Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Domermuth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Kline! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Domermuth! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kline closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Domermuth is trying to buck Kline off. Domermuth struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kline is looking to take a break and control but Domermuth is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kline controlling the position. Domermuth is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Domermuth tries to bench press Kline off him but Kline keeps the position. Domermuth regains half guard. Kline wants to work for an arm triangle but Domermuth is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kline stalling away here and it's allowed Domermuth to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Domermuth is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kline is controlling him. Domermuth is looking to sweep but instead, Kline has passed into half guard.

Kline is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kline wants to take a breather but Domermuth is having none of it. Domermuth pushes Kline off looking to stand but Kline dives back in and keeps control.

Domermuth kicks off Kline and gets to his feet. Kline shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Domermuth pinned against the cage. Domermuth gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kline staying out of range there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Domermuth changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kline looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kline struggling a bit here. Kline sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Domermuth wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kline manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Domermuth is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kline looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Nick Kline dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kline gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Domermuth counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Domermuth seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Domermuth wants to pass the guard but Kline is defending well. Kline wants to control but Domermuth is keeping busy.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Domermuth shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kline decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Domermuth's guard. Domermuth is breathing heavily. Kline showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Domermuth wants to stand up but Kline is controlling him. Kline slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Domermuth tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Domermuth fending off the submission attempt from Kline.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kline is looking for the choke from the back position but Domermuth is controlling his hands well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kline has the hooks in. Domermuth is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Domermuth is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Kline off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Kline is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Domermuth is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nick Kline! Nick Kline is the new heavyweight champion!
