Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and GiganticBlack Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stone showed some decent athleticism there.
Stone tries to pass to full mount but Dick defends it.
Stone stops Dick from getting back to his feet.
Stone sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dick defending well though.
Dick keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stone wants to take a breather but Dick is having none of it.
Stone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Dick wants to control but Stone is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Stone looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone uses his free foot to push down on Dick's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dick.
Stone tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Stone trying to control but Dick is having none of it.
Stone prevents Dick from getting the reversal.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dick sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dick misses with a takedown attempt
and Stone counters with a shoot takedown. Dick fights it but they end up in guard.

Dick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Stone wants to control from the top but Dick keeps moving.
Stone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dick works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dick has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Stone off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Dick scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Stone to see if he's OK.
Stone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dick is controlling him well.
Stone gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
It looks like Dick is going to stand back up.
Stone is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dick pulls his head out easily.

Dick fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Dick persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well Stone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
