Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jalinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Saunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saunder has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Jalinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Saunder! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jalinski fails with a takedown attempt. Jalinski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saunder has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jalinski finds it's way round the side to connect with Saunder's head.
It looks like Gary Saunder has been cut. Saunder checks a leg kick nicely. Jalinski shoots for a takedown but Saunder saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jalinski drives through and clinches with Saunder against the ropes.
Jalinski is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Saunder is keeping busy. Jalinski pulls Saunder into guard.
Saunder sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jalinski is trying to control the position but Saunder postures up. Saunder is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Saunder wants to pass the guard but Jalinski is keeping the position. Saunder looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jalinski wriggles free and stands up. Jalinski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saunder as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Jalinski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jalinski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Jalinski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jalinski looks for the body kick but Saunder saw that one coming. Jalinski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jalinski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Saunder is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jason Jalinski!
