Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kiro Phasian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and River Tam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tam blocks a jab.
Phasian misses with a few strikes there.
Phasian thows a body shot but no joy.
Phasian throws a body punch but Tam moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Tam misses the target.
Tam throws a hook to the side of Phasian's head but Phasian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Phasian.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tam. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Tam lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

River Tam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tam has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
