Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gengis Kan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Damascus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damascus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. seek n strike - soulfly kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Damascus!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kan thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kan.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kan working the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Damascus taking a bit of punishment here - Kan scoring with strikes.
Kan is trying to get an arm triangle but Damascus is defending well.
Damascus wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Kan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Damascus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kan cracks Damascus with a big elbow.
Kan in side control lands a decent elbow.
Kan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kan sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Damascus is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kan lands some shots froms side control.
Kan is looking to take a break and control but Damascus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kan is breathing heavily.
Kan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Damascus to see if he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kan with the ground and pound but Damascus regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Damascus is refusing to be controlled, as Kan sits in half guard.
Kan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Damascus defends it well.
Damascus is looking to control Kan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Damascus avoid being mounted?
Kan stops Damascus from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Damascus lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Kan falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alex Damascus!
