Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jafar Mehtmeht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jafar Mehtmeht! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Royce Castro! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mehtmeht was covering up waiting for the punch and Castro finishes the takedown easily into guard. Castro stopping the sweep attempt from Mehtmeht. Castro looking to pass the guard. Castro controlling from the top position. Mehtmeht keeping full guard, as Castro tries to pass. Castro drops back looking for a leg! Mehtmeht is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mehtmeht manages to kick Castro off! Castro jumps back into Mehtmeht's guard. Mehtmeht might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mehtmeht tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mehtmeht on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mehtmeht tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Castro trying to control but Mehtmeht is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mehtmeht misses with a looping left. Mehtmeht connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Royce Castro has been cut. Mehtmeht closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mehtmeht is looking to pass Castro's guard but actually Castro recovers to full guard. Mehtmeht has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Castro is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mehtmeht wants to stand and escape but instead Castro has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Castro pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mehtmeht is keeping the position for now. Castro trying to control the position from guard on top but Mehtmeht is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castro passes Mehtmeht's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Mehtmeht is trying to stand.
Castro tries to pass to full mount but Mehtmeht defends it. Castro works his foot free and advances to mount. Castro is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mehtmeht is surviving well by controlling Castro's body position as best he can. Mehtmeht squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mehtmeht is squirming around, avoiding Castro's attempts to control the action. Castro working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Castro jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mehtmeht manages to avoid the submission attempt. Castro looks gassed!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mehtmeht closes the distance and clinches. Mehtmeht breaks the clinch.
Castro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mehtmeht napping and manages to drive through into side control! Castro wants to control but Mehtmeht is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jafar Mehtmeht dominated that round. The cut man is working on Royce Castro's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mehtmeht misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mehtmeht could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Castro shoots and misses and Mehtmeht holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mehtmeht tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Mehtmeht tries to break free but Castro pushes him back against the cage. Mehtmeht wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Mehtmeht manages to break the clinch.
Castro shoots and misses and Mehtmeht counters with a straight right hand. Castro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mehtmeht counters with a left to the body. Jafar Mehtmeht has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Castro. Mehtmeht throws a right hand that Castro ducks under and follows up with a left that Castro also avoids with ease. Castro shoots and misses and Mehtmeht counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Castro is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mehtmeht scores with a jab to the jaw. Jafar Mehtmeht is winning the standup battle so far. Mehtmeht cracks Castro with a hook to the temple - Castro is on wobbly legs here! Mehtmeht swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Castro falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mehtmeht wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jafar Mehtmeht!
