Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Nemo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Gorodetskiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemo looks to land a combination but Gorodetskiy avoids it well.
Nemo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gorodetskiy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nemo counters by clinching up.
Gorodetskiy tries for a takedown but Nemo manages to get underhooks.
Gorodetskiy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nemo can't fight it off and eventually Gorodetskiy manages to take the fight to the floor. Nemo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gorodetskiy postures up in Nemo's guard and throws a big left but Nemo blocks it.

Nemo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gorodetskiy is aware though and is defending well.
Gorodetskiy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Gorodetskiy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gorodetskiy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Nemo controls Gorodetskiy momentarily but Gorodetskiy frees himself.
Gorodetskiy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nemo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gorodetskiy, into his guard.
Gorodetskiy is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nemo is in close to Gorodetskiy's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gorodetskiy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Nemo wants to control from the top but Gorodetskiy keeps moving.

Gorodetskiy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nemo defends well.
Nemo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gorodetskiy on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nemo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nemo wants to control from the top but Gorodetskiy keeps moving.
Nemo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gorodetskiy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Nemo stands up from guard. Let's bang!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nemo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Captain Nemo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Nemo.

and Gorodetskiy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gorodetskiy.
Gorodetskiy gets to his feet - Nemo follows without any prompting.
Nemo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gorodetskiy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nemo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Captain Nemo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Gorodetskiy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Nemo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nemo throws a sloppy head kick
so Gorodetskiy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nemo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gorodetskiy wanted to stand there but Nemo had control of the position.

Gorodetskiy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nemo controls Gorodetskiy momentarily but Gorodetskiy frees himself.
Gorodetskiy wants to control from the top but Nemo keeps moving.
Nemo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Gorodetskiy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gorodetskiy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gorodetskiy wants to control the pace but Nemo is squirming around nicely.
Gorodetskiy goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nemo is on top in guard.

Nemo wants to get up but he can't break Gorodetskiy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Nemo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gorodetskiy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Nemo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gorodetskiy pulls down on the head and he's put Nemo to sleep! This one is all over!
