Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ewan McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Builder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX "Party Up". Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ewan McGuire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Builder! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Builder tries a head kick but it misses.
Builder walks forward, straight into a front kick from McGuire. Builder misses with a looping left. McGuire scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. McGuire remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. McGuire scoring with punches from side control. Builder looks gassed! McGuire in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. McGuire controlling the position from side mount. McGuire tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuire working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McGuire trying to control the action but Builder is working from the bottom. Builder tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McGuire decides to stand back up. McGuire closes the distance and clinches. McGuire fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ewan McGuire. That's going to take a lot out of him. McGuire has had enough of the clinch but Builder keeps him there for the moment. McGuire wants the takedown. Builder is fighting it off but McGuire persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Builder's guard against the cage. McGuire stands up from guard. Let's bang! A big left from Builder misses. McGuire shoots in but no luck this time. Builder misses with a head kick.

McGuire tries to clinch but Builder moves out of range. McGuire lands a body shot.
McGuire shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Builder as he jumps to the side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from McGuire is defended easily by Builder. McGuire shoots in and drives through. Builder sprawls well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGuire lands with a kick to the temple. Builder shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" McGuire is trying hard to land a takedown here. Builder sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McGuire is looking to clinch but Builder is avoiding it.
McGuire shoots in looking for a takedown. Builder tries to sprawl out of it but McGuire keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Builder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McGuire tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Builder paws at him with a jab and circles away. Builder tries to close the distance and clinch up but McGuire swats him away and circles back towards the center. McGuire moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McGuire fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McGuire fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

"I don't think so" says Builder as he avoids it easily. Builder on the wrong end of a nice jab. Builder darts in and clinches McGuire up against the cage. That's going to take a lot out of him. McGuire drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Builder trying to control but McGuire is working from the bottom. Builder is breathing heavily. Builder has gone for a leg lock! McGuire slips out almost immediately though and dives into Builder's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuire stops Builder from standing up. McGuire wants to control from the top but Builder keeps moving. Builder can't keep his opponent in guard - McGuire advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. McGuire content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. McGuire trying to mount his opponent but Builder defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McGuire is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGuire has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. McGuire landing strikes, looking to finish! McGuire lands a big shot there that rocks Builder but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGuire landing strikes from the mount and Builder is in trouble! McGuire controlling from the full mount. McGuire stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from McGuire. McGuire fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McGuire tries to clinch up but Builder circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGuire swats away the attempt to clinch by Builder. McGuire throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Bob Builder has been cut. Ewan McGuire is winning the standup battle so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Builder keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McGuire scores a takedown into full mount! McGuire controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McGuire is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Builder to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Builder shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ewan McGuire dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Bob Builder's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Builder tries to clinch and McGuire counters with a head kick. McGuire closes the distance looking to clinch and Builder counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Builder working hard to break the clinch. McGuire works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
McGuire has Builder pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. McGuire pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Builder tumbling to the mat - McGuire dives into Builder's guard. Builder is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McGuire is controlling him. McGuire decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Builder, up you get! Builder takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuire shoots for a double leg takedown but Builder sprawls well. He's pushed McGuire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. McGuire wants to clinch up but Builder keeps it at a distance. McGuire fails in his attempt to clinch. McGuire pushes Builder up against the cage in a clinch. McGuire tries to score a body lock takedown but Builder shows good agility there to stay on his feet. McGuire keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Builder's efforts to push away. McGuire is trying to break the clinch but Builder has him pressed against the cage. McGuire changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Builder fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ewan McGuire. That's going to take a lot out of him. McGuire shoots in but Builder avoids the takedown attempt easily. McGuire is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Builder misses with a kick to the body and McGuire counters with a nice double leg into side control. Builder won't be happy with that. McGuire is working Builder over with some ground and pound from side control. Builder prevents McGuire from moving into mount. Builder parries the strikes from McGuire easily there. McGuire is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Builder to escape.
McGuire working the ground and pound. Bob Builder has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Builder tries to escape but McGuire is in control. McGuire is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Builder has escaped the position, nice work there. McGuire landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Builder taking punishment in the form of punches.
Builder is trying to escape the position but McGuire is controlling the position. Builder dodges the ground and pound from McGuire. McGuire moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. McGuire advances nicely into full mount. McGuire landing punches. McGuire cracks Builder with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ewan McGuire overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

McGuire controlling the position easily from mount. McGuire tries to control but Builder wriggling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McGuire content just to control the position here. Ewan McGuire is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Ewan McGuire showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGuire, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
