Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Manning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manning comes to the cage accompanied by Black and Yellow. Marcus Manning had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Manning! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rich Andersen! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manning tries to clinch there but Andersen circles away.
Manning throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Andersen shoots in but Manning avoids the takedown attempt easily. Andersen fails with the takedown. Manning misses with a body shot.
Andersen throws out a loose jab but Manning uses good head movement to avoid it. Manning fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Andersen sprawls well initially but Manning persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manning looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Manning is nestled in close to Andersen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Andersen wants to improve his position but Manning is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Manning tries to pass the half guard into mount. Andersen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Manning is trying to control the action in half guard but Andersen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Manning performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Andersen is trying to control but can't.
Andersen looks gassed! Manning wants to take a breather but Andersen is having none of it. Manning is stalling here. Andersen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Manning seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Andersen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Manning fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Manning has managed to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A short right from Manning. Manning escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Andersen fails with the takedown and Manning counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Manning. Marcus Manning has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rich Andersen. Manning breaks the clinch.
Manning shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Manning was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manning wants to control the pace but Andersen is squirming around nicely. Manning takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Andersen has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Manning's lack of action.
Manning is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manning winds up and cracks Andersen with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Andersen has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Manning escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Manning! Manning decides to stand up, so the ref orders Andersen to his feet. Manning shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Manning performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Manning winds up and cracks Andersen with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Manning is keen to just control but Andersen is a slippery customer. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Manning lands a nice short elbow. Manning is taking a breather. Andersen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Manning dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Manning scores with a head kick.
Manning drives through with a takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Manning accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Andersen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Manning with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Manning gets to his feet. Andersen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Manning has closed the distance and engaged Andersen in a clinch.
Andersen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Manning gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Manning is pushing Andersen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Andersen wants to break free but Manning has control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manning cracks Andersen with a nice body shot. Manning gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Andersen regains guard.
Manning is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Manning trying to control the position from guard on top but Andersen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Andersen is trying to keep Manning in close.
Manning not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Manning tries to free his leg and advance position but Andersen is retaining full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Manning's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manning gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Manning misses with a series of wild punches.
Manning rushes Andersen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Manning breaks the clinch.
Andersen has his takedown stuffed and Manning decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Andersen's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Andersen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Manning slips nicely into half guard. Andersen tries to roll over but Manning keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersen trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Manning looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Manning can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Andersen is looking to escape. Andersen in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Andersen wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
A nice elbow there by Manning. Manning lands a heavy elbow. Manning putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Manning lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Andersen hang on? Manning landing strikes from the mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Manning looking to control and managing it successfully. Andersen is desperately trying to improve his position but Manning has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Manning dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Andersen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manning was well out of range. Poor timing from Andersen. Andersen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Manning counters with a straight right hand. Andersen misses with a takedown and Manning counters with a takedown into side control. Manning decides to take the fight back to the feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Manning breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Manning lands with an overhand left. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Manning fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Andersen sprawls well initially but Manning persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Manning decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Manning to score an easy takedown into full guard. Manning trying to control but Andersen is working from the bottom. Andersen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Manning rolls with it to try and escape but Andersen cranks on the arm and Manning is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
