Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Ricard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricard comes to the cage accompanied by Dust in the Wind by Kansas. Charlie Ryan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ricard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ryan.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ryan can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Ricard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ryan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's time! Ricard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ricard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Ryan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ricard is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Ricard takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch but Ricard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Ryan counters by moving into the clinch.

and Ricard counters with a shoot takedown. Ryan fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ricard lands a brutal head kick. Ryan looks out on his feet and Ricard throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
