Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dusty Bottoms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kong Le!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bottoms displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Kong Le has been cut.
Le throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bottoms fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bottoms throws a good cross that connects.
Le tries a head kick but it misses.
Bottoms throws a jab but it's blocked by Le.
Le tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bottoms swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Le stuns Bottoms with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bottoms misses with a wild body shot.
Bottoms tests Le's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Le throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Le misses with a low kick.
Bottoms misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A solid leg kick lands there for Le.
Bottoms misses with a body shot.
Bottoms throws a big shot that misses.
Le jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bottoms avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bottoms goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bottoms blocks a leg kick.
Bottoms takes one on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Le ducks under a wild hook from Bottoms.
Bottoms throws a combination that misses
and Le counters with a head kick.
Le clobbers Bottoms with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Le lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bottoms has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bottoms and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Le wants to land a leg kick but Bottoms is out of range.
Bottoms swinging wildly here.
Bottoms darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bottoms thows a huge punch but Le dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bottoms sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Le defending well though.
Bottoms is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Le reverses the position - he's now on top in Bottoms's guard.
Bottoms manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bottoms throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Bottoms scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Le tries to lock up and control but Bottoms gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bottoms landing strikes from the mount and Le is in trouble!
Bottoms pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That has opened up Kong Le's cut even more.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bottoms cracks Le with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The cut above Kong Le's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bottoms raining down shots from the mount!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Le in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Kong Le's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kong Le's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dusty Bottoms!
