Almeida's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Vater Unser. Williams comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Uasay Almeida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Almeida throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range.

Almeida lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively.
Williams lands with a nice combination. Almeida backs away looking to recover.

Almeida throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it.
Williams uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Almeida.

and Williams holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Williams gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Williams is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Williams passes to side control.
Almeida knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.

Williams has hold of Almeida's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Almeida seems comfortable defending it but Williams has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Almeida is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Almeida is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Williams couldn't care less - he's delighted!
