Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Dos Alva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geasus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chiddy Bang - Opposite Of Adults kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Geasus Maximus has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Geasus Maximus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus walks into a left hand.
Maximus fails to land with a series of punches.
Dos Alva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maximus throws a right and a left that both miss.

Dos Alva moves into range and clinches up with Maximus.
Maximus lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Murilo Dos Alva has been cut.
Maximus throws an elbow but it misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Maximus just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dos Alva's brow.
Maximus keeps control of Dos Alva as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Maximus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dos Alva finds it's way round the side to connect with Maximus's head.
Maximus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dos Alva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Maximus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Maximus takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Maximus is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dos Alva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dos Alva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dos Alva has control of Maximus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Maximus regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Maximus tries to reverse the position but Dos Alva maintains control.
Maximus is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Maximus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dos Alva ducks under a wild hook from Maximus.

The fight stays on the outside here - Maximus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dos Alva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dos Alva jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Maximus wants to clinch.

Maximus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Maximus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dos Alva stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Maximus.
Geasus Maximus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Maximus throws a sloppy head kick and Dos Alva moves out of range easily.

Maximus scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nice uppercut lands for Dos Alva. That snapped Maximus's head back.
Maximus throws a nice looking combination but Dos Alva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maximus takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Dos Alva throws a series of punches but Maximus moves out of range.

Dos Alva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dos Alva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maximus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dos Alva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Geasus Maximus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Maximus creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dos Alva's defenses.
Dos Alva wants to break the clinch but can't.

Maximus throws an elbow but it misses.
Maximus utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Maximus jumps guard but Dos Alva stands there with Maximus around his waist. Maximus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dos Alva swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Maximus is now in Dos Alva's guard. A big mistake from Dos Alva there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
