Sikanen throws a series of punches but Roxborough moves out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Roxborough.
Roxborough closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sikanen to the mat! Sikanen manages to get full guard.

Roxborough throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sikanen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Roxborough shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sikanen's guard.
Roxborough looking to sit in guard and control but Sikanen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Roxborough isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sikanen stacks Roxborough on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sikanen!
Sikanen takes a little break here. Roxborough wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Roxborough is trying to improve his position.
Roxborough manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Sikanen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Sikanen is tying to control. Roxborough wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nicholas Roxborough showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Roxborough is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sikanen has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Sikanen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Roxborough to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Roxborough takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sikanen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Roxborough counters with a good low kick that Sikanen was not able to check.

Sikanen throws a body punch but Roxborough moves out of range.

Roxborough shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sikanen as he avoids it easily.

Sikanen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Roxborough controls the pace.
Roxborough stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sikanen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Markku Sikanen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Roxborough drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sikanen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Roxborough has Sikanen in his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sikanen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
