The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac loads up on a big right hand but Bagwell slips the punch.

Bagwell gets the takedown into side control.
Bagwell misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Bagwell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mac keeps working.
Bagwell cracks Mac with a big elbow.
Bagwell looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mac is avoiding damage well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bagwell takes a little break here. Mac wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Mac defending against the ground and pound.
Mac really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bagwell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mac wants to get back to his feet.
The strikes coming from Bagwell are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Bagwell lands some shots froms side control.
Bagwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mac defending against the ground and pound.
Bagwell is looking to take a break and control but Mac is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bagwell is keen to just control but Mac is a slippery customer.

Bagwell is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Mac keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Still in half guard, Bagwell seems content to control.

Bagwell is trying for a kimura here. Mac looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bagwell wins by kimura!
